Hello All,

I am sorry for the delay in writing another Post to my BLOG. I have been distracted by many things such as children, work, relationships and many other personal issues. Though most all have been somewhat negative, some have been very eye opening. Irregardless, thank you all for reminding me of who I am and the mental support sent via E-mail and comments.

The reason that I chose to write on this particular topic is not only because of the ever changing rules and regulations that we are forced to abide by due to politics and governmental issues but also those changes that are going on that are directly influencing me and the ones that are “closest to me” in my life! As a Christian who tries to live the way God wants me to and one whom has had to adapt to so many different changes in my 45 years, I seem to know a little about what I am talking about. With this said, I want to go ahead and apologize to anyone who may take this advise “out of context!”

First of all, I want everyone to know the definition of the word. According to Websters definition CHANGE is: to make the form, nature, content, future course, etc., of (something) different from what it is or from what it would be if left alone.

Think about it for a second if everything remained exactly the same day after day, week after week, year after year, etc. etc…. how boring and monotonous would that be? Jobs would be the same, relationships would be the same, children would remain the same with no discipline or nurturing and NOTHING, including our attitudes would be in complete turmoil. Is this scary, hell yes it is! However, if we do not allow ourselves to sometimes accept change opportunities will be LOST! Maybe not forever but many times it will take so long to realize what you have missed out on because you/we have been so narrow minded or set in our ways to allow such course of nature that God intended to happen.

How do we do this and adapt? We first must understand completely the pros and cons of the change that is going to take place or has already taken place and then we are forced to adapt. Either way will work, however wouldn’t you rather have some sort of clue of what might be happening with this new form of life? Some would, some wouldn’t! Whichever, you choose to do, make sure that you are honest with yourself first and then those most important in your life whom also will be effected by these decisions to change or not to change. If you have control of the situation and the change, ask God first if it is the right decision for you. Then listen to your heart! Not ANYONE else! Sure you can get advise and opinions from those you confide in the most, however, everyone you open up to will give you an opinion and we all know that opinions are like a-holes. We all have one!

If you take a look at marriages, inventions, politics, social economics, relationships, and many other factors in life, if we would have listened to what others said about change and/or some of our ideas, things would be much different in a bad way. For example, if our Lord decided not to give his life to change ours or listened to the false profits back then, our world and eternity would be in turmoil. All of these things that have happened in our lives have been and are happening for a reason. It is God’s will! You and only you know when something is “RIGHT.” What you choose to do once you know this is determined by choices to either follow your heart and God’s will or do things on your own and face the consequences later!

I will be the first to admit I have made mistakes in my life and will make many more! However, I have learned from many of these mistakes, which were by the way due to some sort of change, and try not to do them again. Again, I know some people have hard times with this but listen to the wise. Pray for answers and let your heart lead you in the “RIGHT” direction!

IT ALL STARTS WITH US!!!

Have a Great Day!

How many times have you heard, “time flies when you are having fun!” Well I can honestly say that this past year has flown by and there was little fun to be had. Between the economy, battling health issues and many, many other personal things lets say it has been rough ride. However, the one thing that has remained constant throughout these entire ordeals is the fact that Istill remain a Faithful Christian and know that God is working HIS magic through me and others around me.

Now the Holidays coming whether you like it or not! The commercials, the family events, the shopping, the time management and the football games (yes)! Many are excited, many loath them and many are just ready for them to be here and gone just like the remainder of the year. Knowing that next year will bring more positive aspects than 2011. Where do you stand?

Either way you look at the Holiday’s, please remember the Real Reason for the Season!

Thanksgiving- The day that has been dedicated for those things that we are Truly Thankful for!!! Friends, Family, Faith and Forgiveness!!

Christmas- The Birth of our Lord and Savior- Jesus Christ (Christ-mas) The reason WE are here and living on this temporary place called Earth in the Land of the Free! Not Santa Claus, not gifts, not time off. Yes, these things can and are exciting especially for children and department stores but all of these things are for Naught if you do not understand why things are the way they are.

New Years- The onset of a passing year that will be in the PAST on bringing in a NEW one that should be executed as a positive, highly anticipated 2012. If any of you know of or have heard of Nostradamus and his prophecies OR the Mayan Indians this is the year that the World as we know it is suppose to come to an end. The calendar that we use, which was established by the same Indian tribe is to run out on December, 21st 2012. Is this the true ending?

You, me and others all need to understand that life is so short and full of unexpected trials and tribulations that someday it has to come to an end! Unfortunately, none of us want that to happen anytime soon but let’s face it, no one knows when our final days will be other than Christ Himself. Now, if this time next year comes and more Natural incidences have occurred then it should be a true sign that the SECOND coming is probably coming and the prophecy will be fulfilled.

Again, being optimistic about the remaining portion of 2011 and 2012 let’s truly understand the “Reasons for the Seasons!” Who knows it just may be our last!

Happy Holidays ALL from my family to yours!

All the Best,

Good Morning All,

First of all, thank you for the comments from the last few Post, especially yesterday. With the many readers that have come on board, I must being doing something that has captured your attention! For this, I say, “thank you!” Which kind of leads into what I want to write briefly about today. “What is it that make us Happy?”

Now this is the broadest word in the vocabulary because many things are going to fall into this category. However, it seems like I am asked over and over about “how can I get to where you are emotionally” as everyone thinks I am full of bliss or Happy all the time to be able to write positively all the time. First of all, I assure you that I am not always happy able to write. In fact, the many days that you may not see something from me, may be such a day and the urge just isn’t there. With this said, please don’t think that you have to flood my E-mail with worry if I am not writing but thank you for your concern.

Now that I have mentioned the above, being Happy can take on a whole new meaning for so many people. Me, knowing that I am a Christian and have a home after this life is Huge for me! As I have said over and over, our life here on earth is Comparable to “ONE” breath in heaven or eternity. Think about it! Therefore, knowing that I have a home when this is over is nice but there are reasons that make me happy here on earth as well.

I have endured many trials and tribulations in my 45 years. Yes, 45! I have had good times and bad, happiness and sorrow but I know how to harness emotions a little more now that tries to keep me at an even keel. What is this power, I do not know. But not sweating the small stuff, caring for the people who care about me. Making sure that right decisions are made for me and my families, and knowing how to Love and be Loved makes me who I am today.

Am I completely happy? Is anyone? Let’s just say that God is on is way to placing the right people, in the right places in my life. At that time, I will be as happy as he wants me to be!

With all of this said, please take the time today to tell that special person/s in your life that you love them or that they make you happy! You will be amazed how far it gets you!

Have a great day! God loves you/us all!

Words written from a True Southern Gentleman!

Good Morning Everyone!

A lot has been going on in my life and the lives of many of you as I understand. Some are Great and for some I am sorry for the tough times or the loss off someone special in your lives. However, I wanted to take the time to write about the benefit of pictures!

Whoever made the statement, “A picture is worth a 1000 words!” hit the nail on the head but I would like to go a little further to share what pictures, especially as of lately, have been doing for me to inspire!

As you all may or may not know, the ones that I love and cherish the most are either hours away or have long been with the Saints above. Therefore, all I have are memories, other lines of communication and yes PICTURES! Not just any pictures but ones that can actually talk to you without the means of technology!

When I get down, lonely, upset, I can pull out pictures of those who I love or who have loved me and stare at them. Now you may think I am crazy but they actually talk back to me! Not with words that can be heard by all but through my Spirit and my Heart! Also, not all of the emotions mentioned prior do not have to be somber. In fact, I look pictures more now, especially of a Special Person in my life, just to Remember why and what God has blessed me with. Just as I can, pick up my phone and call my kids to “make things go away” so can I many times with these “talking pictures!”

Now, all of you know how close I was and still am with my father. Though he passed a number of years ago, I can still look at his picture and have a conversation through the power of Love and The Holy Spirit!! It is as real as the writings on this page. If there is a true connection between you and someone else, you will know it and probably know exactly what I am talking about. It is an amazing attribute and/or feeling to be able to look into the eyes of the individual staring back at you through a mere image and be able to see right into their soul.

Not to give anyone of you false hope of ALL pictures but when there is some special person or event that has been in or taken place in your life that was also captured with a photo, take the time to try it! Just like Prayers, open your heart and your mind and be ready for what you can and will experience when these photos begin talking back. Again, don’t be alarmed or scared, know that it is REAL!

With all of this said, please take the time to slow down, pick up a photo, share the memories with someone near or far! It may just put a smile on your face and help you get through the day, the week or even until the next photo is taken. Also, know that just as you are looking into the eyes of someone else, most likely the same people are probably looking back at you. If not, I will bet that they are at least thinking of you.

Know that someone cares about you and loves you! So the next time you want to share a thought without talking to a person, grab that picture and Remember When!! It may just save your life or make your day!

Hello All,

I hope you all are enjoying the trials, tribulations, joys and yes even some sorrows that this time of the year can bring. I know how tough it can be if you can’t be with the one/s that you care about and love the most during these Holiday Seasons. Sometimes, many of us have to live this way on a daily basis because those that mean the most in our lives have passed, moved on and/or can’t be seen on a daily or regular basis that may make us feel special. With this being the case, we as Christians, both men and women, elders and children along with those who are closest to you mentally and/or physically need to be shown affection on a regular basis to reaffirm that “There Are Reasons for These Seasons” and thus reasons for those special people in our lives.

For those of you who know me personally and even those who I have only had the pleasure of communicating with through the mere but effective means of Internet, know that I wear my HEART on my sleeve! And those whom I truly care about are constantly being told and even shown affection as much as possible. Why you may ask? Reason being, if there are friends, loved ones general individuals that you care about ALL need reassurance of your feelings. Some of us (me f0r instants) show different types of affection based on the person, object and/or maybe even an object being targeted (such as a pet or possession . I can assure you that all of this positive gratification or affection will go a long way. This is very true especially for those of us who may know individuals who may be feeling lonely, sad or even a little down during these what should be joyous times. Sometime just by an acknowledging a simple gesture will go a long way. By showing your true emotions and affection to others is often not only appreciated but many will be duplicated by others. By doing this, you have not only contributed to the betterment of the world but also doing God’s Will as well.

All of these affections are controlled by our HEART- Our feelings of love and desire-dictates to a great extent how we live because we always find time to do things we enjoy. Therefore we need to guard our hearts above all else, making sure we concentrate on those desires that will keep us on the right path, Make sure your affections lead you into the right direction. Maybe put boundaries on your desires. If you stay this path of affection and look strait at those you love, it will keep you/me from detouring off the desired path that the Lord and yourself has set which may lead to sin.

These words will hopefully let you all know, especially those who we can look into their eyes and see strait into their hearts and souls how much we care and so desire to show our affection.

Please remember that these are words and beliefs of my own and not necessarily those of others that I may know or organizations that I may be affiliated with. However, they are true thoughts and feelings that can and will be shared by, the Good Book , many others just like us and of course me, A True Southern Gentleman!

Have a Great Week! Pass it on and please have someone subscribe that may need some inspiration!

God Bless

Good Morning All,

First if all, thank you for the many Birthday wishes. Though my weekend birthday plans didn’t turn out the way I would have liked, it was your thoughts and prayers that kept me going!

Throughout my lifetime and especially in the last several months, I have come to know some individuals that are acting completely different from the way that I and they both know how they really are as people and what their true feelings really are! It seems like one minute they are your friends and the next are either shunning you, avoiding you and some even threatening you! It’s almost like turning a light switch on and off! They make up excuses! Blame you for their own problems, lie or become a different person in front of others, listen to false rumors and judge you/us for know reason what so ever!! Why is that?

I am the type of person that wears his heart on his sleeve but also will tell you exactly what I think. Though the second comment has gotten me into trouble more times than none, I would rather speak my mind and be honest than to keep it bottled up inside. Is it healthy, maybe, maybe not! Either way you pretty much know where I stand. Which truly brings me to my point!

I know for a FACT through past actions, relationships, marriages, divorces, ect. that what people may be doing and what they may be saying do not do anything but MASK their true feelings. Just as a wolf in sheep’s clothing, these people think that others can’t see this also? Especially those with children or best friends that understand how mere conversations can cause them to “light up” but when confronted with this, they either clam up, turn you off or completely lie about how they actually feel about you and/or a particular situation! Unfortunately, the only person/s you are fooling is yourselves because your actions be it verbal or nonverbal speak louder than your words. Trust me when I tell you, that according to Scripture, acting like someone other than yourself is wrong and God knows you really are inside. Though unfortunate, many of us others know how you really are as well.

With this said, if you care for someone, tell them! If you are ashamed of someone by the same since, tell them. Just be careful how things are communicated or you will open up an entirely different can of worms. In other words, don’t lie, cheat or disguise yourself as something or someone that you are really not OR you will hate yourself for doing so!

Remember, the person that you are hiding your true feelings from, may just be the Soul Mate that God meant for you to be with forever! Think about it!

Have a Great Day!

Remember that these are thoughts of my own. They are based on life experiences and interpretation of Scripture. They are words that come from a TRUE Southern Gentleman!

God Bless!

Good Morning All,

First of all, don’t forget the time changed last night and it is one hour less than what you thought it was when you looked at your clock! For those of you like myself, I didn’t have a clue until I looked at the time on my phone and computer. Thank goodness for updated technology! Unfortunately I could have rested a little longer but my wonderful daughters natural alarm clock got them up and thus me up to begin our day. They were sweet enough to make Daddy breakfast in bed along with their brother though he would rather stay asleep than eat. Oh well, I guess the Pigs in a Blanket will be just as good reheated to him when he decides to get up. Either way an Absolutely Wonderful gesture! It could have been any time of the day to have that happen because they are Daddy’s Girls that are caring, compassionate and nurturing. Glad they got something from their Father!

This brings me to the topic that I would like to talk about. Throughout my life and probably yours as well, we have all had our ups and downs, highs and lows and wonder sometimes, “how in the world can I get it all done with all of the responsibilities that I have to do!” It certainly can become a challenge, a burden and even stressful. Therefore, knowing that many of the things that we subject ourselves to are by choice, many of them we have no choice on and have to suck it up and make the best out of it. No matter what the case is, there is something(s) within in us that “Inspires Us All” to keep going and going. For me, there are a FEW things only at “this point and time in my life” (please notice I said “this point and time in my life ) though there have been many others in the past.

With everything that is going on in my life right now, I often wonder why or how can I get things done or even want to even put so much effort into it/them at all. Well, I will tell you! Those wonderful, caring daughters of mine and “”my legacy in waiting, fantastic son! I was blessed by God to be a Father and though divorced from their mother, I am still a good father and want to always be a part of their lives as much as I can. Though I only get them every other weekend, I still value that time and make an effort to talk to them every day. Now, after listening to many comments from friends, colleagues and even new acquaintances who I meet on a regular basis through work, socializing or readers of my posts, it seems that I am different from other “fathers.” I hope that is a good thing, as to me, I am a good father who truly cares about his children. Unfortunately, we were and have been put into this situation by reasons out of our control (divorce,) we have learned to adapt and make the most of what we have knowing that it will get better sooner rather than later and we will have more time with one another hopefully in the near future.

It really breaks my heart for me to share my story to others only for them to come back and say, “at least you are trying, my X doesn’t want or have anything to do with our children!” Not only does this make me sad but also really ticks me off! If you guys and girls are responsible or irresponsible to make a child then you should step up to the plate and do the right thing by being a parent to the children that you bore. Is it hard? Hell yes but well worth it and is owed to your kids! I understand that some single parents have no choice and can’t control their situation either due to death of a mate, choice to keep the mother/father away because you want to protect the kids from neglect or fear of letting your children get hurt, mentally or physically.

I was on an airplane coming home from a business trip some time ago and while having a conversation with an individual that was sitting next to me, she explained to me after general conversation that her ex-husband would not only verbally abuse their child during visitation but would also physically beat them for reasons that were, to me, were absolutely uncalled for! By the way, one of the kids is only 2 years old!! Therefore, she would not let the kids see him and is still fighting the liberal system to take his rights away totally! Now, I am Christian man but assure you that if anyone, especially a spouse, ever hurt or tried to hurt my kids, the wrath of this country boy would come down on that persons butt! I am sure many of you would agree!

A few of my best friends are no longer involved (i.e. My Father, My soul mate, etc.) however, the thoughts of them, what they stand for, along with knowing what they and God would want me to do, help inspire me as well.

Either way, there are many factors that keep us going. Those are just my 2 primary ones. Sure there are others like family, friends, jobs and loved ones that keep inspiring us to push on, move forward without thinking of what might have been but what you can make of today and tomorrow. With this said, I try not to dwell on the past, forgive those whom have wronged me and visa versa, along with stay strong for the things that are interfering with my standard of life. Whether it is health matters, relationship matters, financial matters (etc. etc.) I/we need to look to our inspirational people, places and things to keep moving in a positive direction.

What or who is it that keeps you going? What inspirational objectives do you have in your lives? I would love to know!

Thanks for reading! Pass it on and remember that these are thoughts of my own. They are topics that I have chosen to write about based on past experiences, lessons learned in my lifetime and most of all God’s inspirational touch. They are word, thoughts and beliefs that can only be told from the voice of a true Southern Gentleman!

God Bless and Have a Great Week!

Hello All,

Back from Chicago and the typical rainy, windy mess that normally comes with that area of the country. Though the trip was very beneficial business wise, I am glad to be back in the South. I would say glad to be home but things have changed so much that I couldn’t even tell you where my home is right now. Sad but true, wherever my head hits a pillow seems to be the Home for the time being. Though the home is suppose to be where the heart is, I am still trying to put it back together and decide where I choose to let my heart lead me now!

With all of this said, I wanted to discuss something that I have heard quite often in the past few months and honestly have had the same thoughts, fears, concerns etc. Now, I don’t want to sound like I am complaining but I have listened to advise from friends, counselors, clergy and even family members until I am just about sick of it! Just because I am divorced doesn’t mean that I am dead or need for everyone to try and set me up with someone new all the time. Though I truly appreciate your efforts and consideration and have met some wonderful people, I am not sure what it will take walk down the isle again and/or even let other special women close into my life unless I know that it feels 100% right. Well people have and are constantly asking me, “How do you know when it’s right? or How do I know I can trust them? I have been hurt so many times before.” To this, I answer, “Obviously you have never been in Love with anybody or anything before if you can’t figure this out on your own!” Now I am certainly not trying to be a smart ass or a know it all. I am being conservative and airing on the side of caution. Please understand that there are many people both men and women that have probably gone through in the past or dealing with these issues currently and are being put in the same position.

Hear is how I really feel. I know Love comes in many aspects, forms, shapes and sizes. Young or old the feeling that “True Love” gives you is probably the greatest gift that God has ever blessed our emotions with. Unconditional Love from the standpoint of being a parent is truly one of the best feeling in the world. However, the second form that I am really discussing here is the feeling we experience between that special someone that makes you smile every time to think or talk to them. People that are your best friends whom can finish your thoughts for you and probably know more about you than you do yourself. Your potential soul mate. This type of love is Love from the Mind and/or Heart. Now yes, it too can be unconditional if you have given your heart and soul to another before God and Friends and truly live the way that scripture expects you to live with this type of Love. The vows of Holy matrimony are wonderful if they are upheld as they should.

Now I can write on this subject quite a bit as I truly know love, honor, trust, respect and commitment from past, long, monogamous, lasting relationships along with also being in 2 marriages that were also prefaced with the same adjectives and adverbs that came prior to the ones listed previously. These marriages were suppose to have lasted forever as the circle on the wedding ring symbolizes. (One with no end) Though these were ALL of our initial intentions, I guess, our respective spouses had different choices in mind and decided on their own or from false impressions of satanic friends that this just wasn’t the case. Yes all of these instances makes me mad, sad, upset, resentful but now has also made me “Leary and somewhat cautious!”

Why you may ask, well let’s just say that as soon as we let our walls of trust and respect down, others MAY try to manipulate what we have gone through for their own advantage. This is more from a woman’s perspective but for us guys, the intentions are just the same or maybe worse. Now, I am not telling you to keep your walls up forever, or let them down immediately. What I am saying is that we all have EARNED the respect from past experiences to air on the side of caution. However, as adults, we need to act as adults without resentment, disrespect or cold. Some would even call this being “stuck up” or even “fickle.” Call it what you will, all I am saying is to be choosy with your intentions if you so desire. If it your intentions to have a friend with benefits or merely a casual relationship with no strings attached, then treat it as such and let that be known to all parties involved in the beginning or ending up regretting your decisions whether good, bad, indifferent, wonderful for the moment or whatever. This will make you feel even worse than you did prior if not!

As for me, I respect women as ladies and will treat them as such! Maybe it is my Southern morals and values but God made woman for man and with that, we as men should respect that what God has given us. Though I have had my faults in the past, I will assure you that EVERY girl, woman, lady that I have been involved with over my 45 years of life will all tell you that I treated them all with the utmost respect and always will. If not, I would like to know who you are and will apologize to you personally!

As a member of the Kappa Alpha (KA) fraternity in college, our Creed 0r our Motto if you will, translated into English meant, ”For God and Womanhood!” Now my dear brothers and sisters, this is just not a saying that we believed in college but a way of life that we all swore to uphold. If you don’t believe me, I will find you a KA brother from, the past or present and they will explain to you the exact same thing.

I hope this has helped some of you with the issues that you are going through as I am also trying to move forward! If not, please tell me what has worked for you and comment to help us all.

Please remember that these thoughts are those of my own and no others that I am affiliated or work with. They are topics that I choose to write about based on past experiences and how these experiences pertain to interpretation of scripture that have changed my life in some way. Hopefully, they will touch you as well. They are expressions that can only be communicated from a Southern Gentleman’s Perspective! Please pass it on!

God Bless!

Hello All,

Back from minor surgery on my wrist last week and a productive business trip, I could not wait to get this message out. Though it is a little tough to type with a cast on my right wrist, I am still trying to “Get- r -Done” as Larry the Cable Guy would say. And I did!

Anyway, while on my leave of absence from my home, going through various things over the last couple of weeks, I have been able to reach out to some very close people in my life, both old friends, new friends and colleagues for special discussions on something that I have been pondering for some time now. Thes thoughts that led to discussions all were centered on ” how various aspects in our lives have changed so much over the past 10 years. Even more so over the last 20 years.” Now some of these changes are people related, some are work related and many are related to the “change in the economical times” or as some call the “that was then, this is now syndrome!” However you want to look at a situation whether an instance that is business related or a personal issue that you may be dealing with, I am sure you have stopped and thought to yourself, why didn’t this happen 5, 10 years ago? Why couldn’t that person have been around for me 15 years ago or how about this, Where have you been the last several years of my life when I could have really used you/needed you?

I am sure we have all thought of the change in history that could have been made if we would have just acted or reacted a little differently within a certain situation and/or relationship! Now some of the memories really make you think and eventually may make you mad, happy, grateful, respectful or blessed that you /we stayed the path we are /were on OR completely the opposite, wish things would have turned out just a little different.

All of these cases were based on cause and effect and I assure you God had his hand in ALL of it! Now I do not know why He did or knew His purpose but wish the heck I did in many cases. However, I do know that He is testing us over and over to make sure that we stay true to our words, vows, promises, commitments, jobs, friendships, families and most of all, TO HIM!

Even when we look back to our days of youth or our I days of inexperience in life, jobs etc. or even our life changing events that we have all gone through at some time or another, we have many times wished and prayed that the outcome would have been a little different. However, what we didn’t realize is that the outcomes were exactly what God had in store for us at the time and we needed to live with what HE had provided us. Good, Bad or Indifferent to us personally we are living the path that GOD wanted us to take whether we liked it or not.

These paths could be long and torturous that were no more than a “field trip” through life where we were needed to choose a certain path. Others have been journeys over time that has molded us who we have or have not yet become today! That’s right, many of us still do not know what path God wants us to take and are still struggling with that. For those of you who are riding this “ride of uncertainty” remember this, ” Many times Life and Life styles often recreate themselves over time just in a slightly different manner.” The things you did as a teenager are now being done by our children. The messages we received from our parents way back when are now being relayed to our next generations and job functions, though maybe a little different in nature are still constant with the goal being the same. Taking care of your client at any expense.

What I am getting at is, “the More things that we think things change, the more they actually stay the same.” Unfortunately for those of us who have moved on to another level in our life, relationship and/or position, think about how you got there to begin with and learn from your past that God blessed you with, forgive and move forward with a positive attitude. If not, you will be stuck asking yourself the same questions more frequently than what you really wanted or expected.

Please let me know your thoughts! Also, keep your eyes open for a Publicist to discuss moving forward with my book and/or someone affiliated with a local newspaper that I may be able to “freelance” with and share my ideas to a broader market. This will strengthen my journalism resume so when the time is right for the book, it can be sold more effectively.

Otherwise, thank you all for reading! Please pass them on and let me know your thoughts. These writings are reflections back on my life and comparisons that I have made or not made with the teachings of Scripture and life’s lessons that can only be expressed from the voice of a True Southern Gentleman!

Have a great week! I look forward to your comments! (Good, Bad or Indifferent)

God Bless!

Good Saturday Morning All! I am sorry that I have taken a couple of days off as I have had some personal issues to take care of and either couldn’t write,or just had writers block! Either way, when you have over 2500 subscribers, you are missed but I am OK friends. Yes, surgery went fine yesterday! Tough to be typing right now but needed to communicate.

1st of all, I have to say GO DAWGS! Beat Florida!

Over the past few months, I have experienced some changes in my life. Some of these expected, some unexpected and then some that were just lingering, waiting to occur, maybe over years or maybe over a few months. Either way the changes that I have experienced have been “trying” on my life to say the least. Now don’t get me wrong out there all of you reading that are ASSUMING that I am talking about you because there is NO “One” person being singled out or your names would be here. Just kidding!

With the changes in my life and that have recently occurred, I can truly say I have been blessed that God to has reintroduced people into my life that I haven’t seen for years but haven’t ever forgotten! Some of these, are old acquaintances from from my childhood. Some from my, Hometown. Some from my past college life both at Mercer and Georgia and some have reappeared from Old Neighborhoods from years past. Whether, men, women and yes, those whom use to be children but no longer have all made me realize that some things never change. Especially, who I am and the values that I believe in. No matter, how I have become reacquainted with these people, there is a reason why God has brought these individuals back into my life.

Now, with the topic set, I have been asked lately about my personal life, health and relationships etc. after my divorce. Now I am not going into specifics about who I have dated nor where those have and/or will go. All I will tell each and everyone of you out there, is this. “Whether you know me or not, have been involved with me or in any relationship, take each day slowly and nurture what God has given you. Otherwise, there will be regret, expectations that will not be met by both parties and/or even heartache. No one wants this to happen, “Especially Me!” Again, for those of you who read and assume, don’t try to over evaluate this at all. There is love in our lives that need to be expressed but by being smart, the relationships that will survive will be those that have already been established long time ago or those that will be nurtured over time.

With this said, some relationships move faster than others. Why is this you ask? Well to me, I believe YOU and only YOU can know when that other person is RIGHT! It may be your soul mate you are talking to, a simple passionate friend or a true better half that needs to be explored further. No matter what the case is, take the time to nurture each others thoughts and feelings and I assure you what you will do is be able to harvest those seeds that you have planted. Again from days past or someone that you have just met not so long ago.

Though some of us may be looking for a mate or another soul mate, all of us are primarily just wanting to be HAPPY! In either case, don’t make the process harder than it is! You will know if/when it is right.

Please understand that these are thoughts of my own and do not necessarily reflect those of others. They are words that can only be written by a True Southern Gentleman!

Have a great day!

Go DAWGS!!
